Majis is a Government of Oman owned company engaged in providing various water utility services at the Sohar Industrial Port Area. Currently providing chlorinated sea water for industrial cooling applications, process water and potable water, we will soon engage in providing sanitary waste water collection and treated industrial waste water collection services. Majis Industrial Services SAOC (“Majis”) has been incorporated as a closely held joint stock company registered with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (“MoCI”) in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company was established in April 2006 and currently has a paid-up share capital of RO 20 million, which is wholly owned by the Government, represented by the Ministry of Finance (99.875%) and the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (0.125%). MISC is currently providing four line of services (sea water self extract, sea water delivered, processed water and potable water) for SIP area tenants.
